 Llano is located in the heart of Texas Hill Country, and its natural beauty, friendly people, and Texas history are amazing! It is one of the most unique and picturesque cities in Texas.  LLANO LOCATION and FACTS -- Llano is located approximately 75 miles northwest of Austin on Highway 71 and 98 miles due north of San Antonio. It is located on the Llano River about 20 miles west of Lake Buchanan and Inks Lake on Highway 29.
